On Tuesday, we'll talk about the psychology of music. To give you a little taste of what we'll talk about, I've prepared this short demo.

In what follows, you'll hear 8 short audio clips gathered from different cultures. There are 4 'types' of songs you'll hear: dance, healing, love, and lullaby. For each clip you hear, you'll have to guess which type of song it is (i.e., did you just hear a clip from a dance song, a healing song, a love song, or a lullably?).

The music is sourced from the Natural History of Song, which we'll discuss on Tuesday! As you go through this demo, feel free to replay audio as needed. After each guess, you'll see whether you were right.
